The Blonde Beauty

Having owned a 40cm Peugeot pepper mill for years, I saw it at the local Catering Supplies down the road when I was looking for a knife, it was on the counter, and I asked the lady if I could pick it up and have a feel, and was it loaded? It was, and one turn and the pepper that came out of it was perfect. Bought it instantly, by far the best one I've ever used. I decided to purchase a salt mill to go with it.....I was conditioned by the medical fraternity that salt is bad, so I rarely use salt. If I'd cook up a chicken and vegetable soup, or a curry I'd ask my wife to taste it and she would sometimes say it needed a bit of salt, and we didn't have a proper mill.

I recently decided to start adding a bit of salt to my meals after reading that it wasn't so Bad at all. So of course I needed another Peugeot to do the job. I was hoping to get a taller one closer in height to The Big Black Fella, but they don't come that tall, so the 30cm Blonde Beauty got the job. It's a beautiful looking device, and does a sensational job. The different settings to adjust the grate size is a good feature.

We are very pleased with our purchase, gets used all the time, and I am enjoying the salt that I am adding to my food.
