stainless steel pair pepper is great but not the salt

I bought my pair. in Paris stainless steel top and bottom glass or plastic in the middle

very classy

my problem is what salt should I use ? We live in Sydney its now summer and my mill does not like the rock salt with the humidity

what should I do?
